American Legion Berkeley Post 14 Baseball is a veteran run non-profit organization that provides baseball programs and other opportunities to our local community. Each year, they support local athletes between the ages of 13-19, offering them the opportunity to develop their athletic skills as well as receive scholarship funds. They focus on developing character and leadership qualities and support academic achievements as well. They are dedicated to preparing their participants for all their future endeavors.
The Berkeley County Development Authority (BCDA) is proud to be a supportive partner of the American Legion Berkeley Post 14 Baseball program. The BCDA endowed $75,000 that was used toward the organization’s long-term stadium project that installed turf fields and stadium seating to better accommodate local teams and tournaments. Recently, the organization hosted a lively celebration where many teams from the tri-county area came together to commemorate the new facilities.
The Berkeley County Development Authority remains committed to supporting our local businesses, organizations, and community and believe the improvements for this project will boost the economy and provide new business opportunities for our local establishments in Berkeley County.
